Event Overview
The Harrington Park Fall Spectacular is the 24th annual event. It takes place on Saturday, October 17, 2026 in Harrington Park, New Jersey. The start and finish location is Harrington Park School.
Events
The event features three different races:
- A 5k Run/Walk, which is open to all ages.
- A Mile Fun Run, which is open to participants ages 9 and under.
- A Kiddie Dash, which is open to participants ages 6 and under.
Course and Timing
The 5k course is a USATF-certified road course. It is described as relatively flat and goes through Harrington Park. Race results are posted with both gun time and chip time. Awards are determined by gun time.
Registration and Amenities
Packet pickup is available on Friday, October 16th at the HP School Gym from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, or on the event day from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. Registration includes different items for each event. Participants in the 5k receive a long-sleeve technical shirt. Participants in the Mile Fun Run and Kiddie Dash receive cotton t-shirts. Mile Fun Run finishers get a ribbon, and Kiddie Dash finishers get a medal.
Awards
For the 5k event, awards are given in several categories. These include the top three overall male and female finishers, the top three male and female finishers in each 10-year age group, and the top three fastest families from Harrington Park. Additional awards are given to the top male and female Harrington Park resident and the top male and female Harrington Park School student. An award is also given to runners who have finished the race for 10 consecutive years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
