Course, amenities and awards
The 5K course is USATF certified and described as a relatively flat road course through Harrington Park. Race results will be posted for both gun time and chip time; gun time will determine medal results. Amenities include long sleeve tech tops for the first 500 pre-registrants for the 5K while supplies last, cotton T-shirts for Mile Fun Run and Kiddie Dash participants, a large indoor gym for pre-race activities, clean indoor restrooms, water stations, 1st and 2nd mile clocks, and ample parking.
Awards are scheduled to be given at 11am. Award categories include top 3 male and female overall, top 3 male and female in 5-year age groups from 9 & under through 85+, top 3 male and female Harrington Park residents, top male and female Harrington Park School (K-8) students, and top 3 Harrington Park fastest families using the aggregate of three immediate family times.
