Harriman Trail Runs - August 15, 2026
Harriman Trail Runs takes place at Harriman State Park in Island Park, ID on August 15, 2026. The event offers multiple distances that start and finish on the east lawn of The Boy's House. Check in is scheduled for Friday evening and Saturday morning. Registration closes on August 10, 2026.
Distances:
- 50K / Venti - two loops of the 25K course
- 25K / Grande - single loop, course length 25K
- 10K / Tall - follows the Silver Lake Trail after two-tracks
- 1K / Short - kids' run on the Railroad Ranch gravel loop
The course travels through forest and meadows on gravel, two-tracks, and pine-needle single track, with views of the Teton Mountains and possible wildlife encounters. Aid stations include a start/finish station and one on-course station; 10K runners visit the on-course station once, 25K runners twice, and 50K runners four times. This is a cupless event so participants must bring their own drinking vessel. Brunch or lunch is included with entry; participants are asked to bring their own utensils and plates to reduce waste.
Logistics notes: vehicles entering the park pay a $7 motor vehicle fee per day and registered runners receive a parking pass at check-in. Dogs are not allowed in the park except in parking areas. Minors require parental and race director permission. The organizer allows refunds only if the race is full and there is a wait list; entries may not be transferred or rolled over.
