Hardinsburg Turkey Trot
The Hardinsburg Turkey Trot takes place on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, at Breckinridge County Courthouse Square in Hardinsburg, Kentucky. The event includes two course options:
- 5K
- 2K (2 Miles)
Registration opens July 30, 2026. Base registration is $20 and increases to $25 on November 18, 2026. Runners who register before November 12, 2026 will receive a race t shirt; sizes are not guaranteed after that date. High school and elementary age students may register for free. Free registrations do not include a race t shirt but t shirts may be purchased for $12 during checkout. Online registration remains available through race day and cash registrations are accepted on site.
Packet pickup is available on race day at Breckinridge County Courthouse Square.
All proceeds from sponsorships and registration fees will be donated to Shop With A Cop. A food drive will collect donations for the Good Samaritan Center.
Special awards will be presented to the top male and top female finishers. The event combines timed running options, community fundraising, and an organized packet distribution at the courthouse square. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
