Harbor Half Marathon (Corpus Christi, Texas)

The Harbor Half Marathon is an annual road running event presented by H-E-B. The 23rd edition is scheduled for November 7, 2026, in Corpus Christi with start and finish at Whataburger Field. The event includes a half marathon distance, a relay option, and a 4 mile course.

The course passes through historic areas of the Corpus Christi harbor, crosses the newly completed Harbor Bridge, follows Corpus Christi Beach, and continues across the causeway over Nueces Bay to the wetland area at Sunset Lake Park. On November 1, 2025 the Harbor Half Marathon was the first race to feature a route over the new Harbor Bridge.

The event has grown from about 200 runners in its early years to drawing more than 1,600 participants annually and is supported by over 150 volunteers. All proceeds from the Harbor Half Marathon and the relay benefit Junior Achievement of the Coastal Bend, a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization and satellite office of Junior Achievement of South Texas.
