About the race
First Stride Events stage end of season Sprint and Super Sprint triathlons and an aquathlon at Hampton Pool, an outdoor heated lido on Hampton Pool High Street, TW12 2ST, United Kingdom.
The Sprint course includes a pool swim followed by a road cycle and a pavement run beside Hampton Court. The swim takes place in the outdoor heated 36 m lido where the water temperature is 26 degrees and wetsuits are not permitted. Transition 1 may include a pause of chip timing to allow athletes to dry off and layer up; this is weather dependent. Riders must have a rear light fitted to their bike because roads remain open to traffic.
Distances:
- Sprint: 432 m swim; 20 km bike; 5 km run along Hampton Court.
- Super Sprint: 216 m swim; 8 km bike; 2.5 km run.
