Halloween Howl 5K & 1K : Little Mulberry Park
This is the 9th annual Canine Pet Rescue fundraiser and Halloween Howl held at Little Mulberry Park, using the Fence Road entrance near Hwy. 324. The event benefits Canine Pet Rescue; the organizer states that 100% of entrance fees support saving, rehabilitating, housing, and placing dogs in new homes. The event is listed as a Peachtree qualifier.

Registration details include early and late price tiers, a virtual registration window that closes later than in-person entries, and nonrefundable fees. T-shirt and swag availability is limited; T-shirts and swag bags are not guaranteed after the 10/08/2026 signup deadline. Race day registration is available.
Packet pickup is available at the Mulberry Park Pavilion on the day before the event from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, and additional packet pickup begins the morning of the event. The 5K entrants receive a T-shirt, finishing medal, and a swag bag while supplies last. The 1K includes a finishing medal; T-shirts for the 1K can be pre-ordered for an extra charge. The virtual option includes a medal and T-shirt.
Costume contests are planned for kids, adults, and dogs, and an award ceremony will follow the event. Dog participation guidelines require current vaccinations, an ID tag, a leash no longer than 6 feet (no retractable leashes), adult supervision, no aggressive dogs, and owners to clean up after their pets.
