Halloween Howl 5K & 1K : Little Mulberry Park, Auburn, GA
The event is a charity run and fundraiser for Canine Pet Rescue held on October 31, 2026, at Little Mulberry Park, using the Fence Road entrance near Hwy. 324 (3855 Fence Road, Auburn, GA 30011). It is presented as the ninth annual Canine Pet Rescue fundraiser and a Peachtree qualifier.
The program includes multiple options:
- 5K in-person run/walk
- 1K in-person run/walk for small or senior dogs, seniors, and kids
- Virtual 5K option
Registration opens on April 13, 2026. In-person registration for the 5K and 1K closes August 30, 2026; virtual registration remains open later. Registration fees vary by date; ranges listed by the organizer are $30–$35 for the 5K, $20–$25 for the 1K, and $35–$40 for the virtual 5K. Registration fees are non-refundable. T-shirt and swag availability is not guaranteed after the signup deadline of October 8, 2026.
The 5K entry includes a T-shirt, finishing medal, and a swag bag while supplies last. The 1K includes a finishing medal; shirts may be pre-ordered. The virtual option includes a medal and T-shirt. The event features a costume contest for kids, adults, and dogs, with an award ceremony after the races. Dog guidelines include current vaccinations, an ID tag, a leash of six feet or less (no retractable leashes), adult supervision, and cleanup of waste.
