The Haliburton Forest Trail Race is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026 through Sunday, September 13, 2026 at Haliburton Forest & Wild Life Reserve Ltd in Haliburton, Ontario, Canada. 2026 is the 33rd annual running of the event; the first race took place in 1993. The course uses privately owned trails that are heavily forested, hilly, and include lakes and streams.

Registration and policies
Participants who register by July 20, 2026 are guaranteed race swag (t-shirts or 100 miler hoodies). Registration pricing is listed by distance and includes mandatory charges and fees; the event page shows early bird and later pricing periods. The race has a firm no deferral, no cancellation policy. Registrations may be transferred to another person through Race Roster or by contacting the organizer prior to registration closing. Exceptions to the policy may be made under extenuating circumstances at the race administration's discretion.
