Event overview
The New Year race is scheduled for January 10, 2026 in Concord, North Carolina at Vietnam Veterans Park (Dogwood Shelter), 760 Orphanage Rd, Concord, NC 28027. The event includes these distances:

All runners must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration. A price increase occurs on the Monday before the race.
Course and logistics
The courses are out-and-back routes. The 5K uses the out-and-back once and the 10K uses it twice. The half marathon uses an out-and-back repeated four times. The surface is mostly paved with a stretch of gravel and dirt. The course is described as shaded. There is a course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes.
Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the race and ends 10 minutes before the race starts. The event is based at the Dogwood Shelter; bathrooms are located in the right corner of the parking lot when first entering.
