Event overview
The Medal Madness event is scheduled for June 27, 2026 in Colonial Heights, Virginia at the Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing Access (265 Charles H Dimmock Pkwy, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). The event includes the following race distances:
- 5K - out-and-back course, one lap.
- 10K - out-and-back course, two laps.
- Half Marathon - separate out-and-back course, four laps.
All participants must register on RunSignup. There is no on-site registration. Parking is available at the Appomattox River Greenway Roslyn Landing, with limited parking noted.
Courses and race services
The 5K and 10K use the same out-and-back route. The half marathon uses a different out-and-back route and repeats that route multiple times. A course time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes applies. The event offers finisher medals and a shirt and gear shop, and includes features such as a best costume recognition, series points, and awards.
