Halcombe Relays : Event overview
The Halcombe Relays is a team relay event held at Halcombe Hall (Halcombe Fire Station, Willoughby Street, Halcombe, Manawatu-Wanganui, New Zealand). The event is open to other clubs and sporting codes.
Entry is by team. The standard team fee is $72.00 per team; Feilding Moa club teams do not pay a team fee and club members may be added to those teams by the published deadline. Entrants must register by the stated entry deadline.
The programme separates walk and run teams into multiple start waves: walk teams will be split into two waves and run teams into two or three waves. Race bibs will be issued to each team. A course map is provided for the relay route.
Refreshments are available locally near the hall, and announcements and an afternoon tea will be held at the hall after racing. Results from previous years are recorded and available for reference.
The event is organised as a club and interclub relay competition on public roads around Halcombe and is intended for team-based participation rather than individual entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
