The Growing Minds Foundation 5K

The Growing Minds Foundation 5K takes place in Pocahontas, AR on October 3, 2026. It is the fourth annual Growing Minds Foundation Fall Festival 5K walk/run. The event is organized by the Growing Minds Foundation, a non-profit that provides medical scholarships to children with disabilities and complex medical needs in Northeastern Arkansas.

The in-person 5K begins and ends at Black River Overlook Park, located across the highway from First Horizon Bank on Rice Street in Pocahontas. Registration for the events closes on October 3, 2026. There is no day-of registration.

Entry fees listed are $35 for the in-person 5K and $25 for the virtual 5k. Each participant receives a medal, a T-shirt if registered by the posted deadline, and race-day swag. Additional medals are awarded to overall winners and age group winners.
