Groton Labor Day 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run
This community running event takes place on September 7, 2026 at 400 Peru Rd., Groton, NY 13073. It offers multiple race options and a combined entry that uses a single bib for both distances.

Registration opens March 1, 2026 and closes August 28, 2026. Published entry fees are $25.00 for the 5K, $0.00 for the 1 Mile Timed Fun Run, and $25.00 for the combined entry that covers both events.
Race day operations include race day registration and packet pickup. Parking, restrooms and showers are available near registration outside the high school gym. Post race refreshments are provided.
The event is sponsored by and serves as a fundraiser for the Groton Varsity Cross Country Program. Proceeds benefit the Girls and Boys Cross Country Teams and have been used to fund trips to other competitions and to purchase team apparel.
