Griffin 5K
The Sullivan County High School Athletic Booster Club organizes the annual Griffin 5K Run/Walk at Lake Mokoma in Laporte, Sullivan County, Pennsylvania. The event is a 3.1 mile course that is relatively flat and follows pavement, gravel, and trail surfaces around the lake.
The course includes a water stop at the halfway point. Refreshments are provided at the finish area and medical services are available on site. The race begins at the Lake Mokoma Beach Parking Lot; signage will mark the start area.
Registration opens January 14, 2026 and closes July 7, 2026. Fee levels listed by the organizer are: $25 for preregistered entrants, which includes a t shirt if registered by July 7; $20 for Sullivan County High School and elementary students registered by July 7; and $30 for registrations received July 8 or later or for day of event entries.
Awards include trophies for the overall male and overall female finishers and medals for the top three male and female finishers in age groups 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 plus.
