Greg Grooters Memorial 5K & Kids Run
The Greg Grooters Memorial Run takes place in West Fargo, North Dakota, hosted by the Sheyenne High School Track & Field Team. The event honors a former teacher, coach, and administrator within the West Fargo Public Schools by supporting students at Sheyenne High School. All activities are centered at the Sheyenne High School Track Complex, which serves as the starting and finishing point for the various distances.
Participants can choose from the following event options:
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Kids 5K (for participants aged 12 and under)
- Kids Run (a 1/4 mile fun run for children aged 12 and under)
The 5K course is electronically timed, and results are published online following the conclusion of the race. Runners in the 5K events receive a commemorative shirt along with snacks and drinks provided after the event.
Registration is available through an online portal until the day before the race, with walk-up registration and packet pickup also offered on the morning of the event at the high school track.
