Greenwich Tunnel 10km
The Greenwich Tunnel 10 km is a running event that takes place at the Greenwich foot tunnel next to the Cutty Sark in London, King William Walk, SE10 9HT. The route is entirely inside the foot tunnel and leads toward the Mudchute exit underneath the River Thames.
Completing the distance requires 27 laps of the tunnel. The start is organised from the descending steps with a staggered start in 10 second intervals. A race day registration desk for number collection opens 90 minutes before the race.
All finishers receive a medal, water and a snack. Race times and finish positions are published within a day of the event.
The event is presented by Run Happy Run Healthy and is described as an evening tunnel run that combines a physical and a mental challenge. The location is set in the historic area next to the Cutty Sark and uses the Greenwich foot tunnel for the full course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
