Greenwich Peninsula 5 Miler
The Greenwich Peninsula 5 Miler is a running event set on a flat and fast 5-mile course in London. The route consists of two laps that take participants through various green spaces and along the riverbank, providing views of the River Thames and the O2 arena.
The course begins at Central Park on the Greenwich Peninsula. From the start, the path leads past the Pilot pub and Peninsula Park. It then crosses over to loop through Southern Park and the Ecology Park. Following this section, the route joins Olympian Way, a path that runs alongside the Thames and circles the O2 arena. After completing the first lap where Olympian Way meets Waterview Drive, the course goes through Peninsula Square, passing Phoenix Avenue before returning to the start line to begin the second lap.
Participants receive the following as part of the event:
