HSS Greenwich Half Marathon
The HSS Greenwich Half Marathon is a 13.1 miles running race held at Greenwich Point Park in Old Greenwich, Connecticut. The course runs along the waterfront and provides views of Long Island Sound.
Registration opens from May 14 to May 31, 2026, with a registration fee of $70.00. Event-day operations include packet pick-up and registration, post-race snacks and refreshments served grab-and-go style, and an awards ceremony.
The event enforces a three hour course limit for the half marathon. To finish within this limit runners must maintain an approximate pace of 13:44 minutes per mile. Roads will reopen to traffic and water and aid stations will close as the race progresses beyond that pace. Runners who continue beyond course time limits do so at their own risk and are advised to carry fluids and energy gel. Race staff will begin breaking down the finish area after course limits; runners who finish after limits and are unable to collect a finisher medal on site may contact the race office within 48 hours.
Dogs are not allowed at Greenwich Point Park during this event because it takes place during the park’s in-season period. A custom tech shirt is offered for the event. There is parking on site, and carpooling is encouraged.
Awards are presented to the top three men and top three women in these divisions: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+. Top three non-binary finishers are also recognized. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
