Greenwich Community 5K

America's 250th – Greenwich Community 5K & Fun Mile

This community running event takes place at the Bruce Museum and uses a scenic course through Bruce Park in Greenwich, Connecticut on June 6, 2026. The occasion is presented by the Bruce Museum, Greenwich United Way, and Greenwich Road Runners and marks part of America’s 250th anniversary celebration. Participants of all ages and abilities are welcome. Post-run refreshments, awards, and entertainment are provided, and finishers receive free access to the Bruce Museum. Net proceeds support children's programming at the Bruce Museum and Greenwich United Way.

• 5K - certified course, age-group medals, cash prizes for top three overall
• 1 Mile - participation medals for children

Registration details vary by distance. Registration opens February 9, 2026. The 5K registration fee is $35 with registration closing April 30, 2026. The 1 Mile registration fee is $10 with registration closing June 5, 2026. The 5K age-group awards cover multiple categories with medals for the top three male and female finishers in each listed age group; overall cash prizes are awarded to the first three finishers.
