America’s 250th – Greenwich Community 5K & Fun Mile
The Greenwich Community 5K & Fun Mile is a collaborative event organized by the Bruce Museum, Greenwich United Way, and Greenwich Road Runners. This event commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States and takes place at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich, Connecticut.
Participants can choose from two distinct distances:
- 5 km run
- 1 mile run
The course is located within Bruce Park, offering a scenic environment for those running or walking. Registration is open to individuals of all ages and abilities. The event includes organized competition with age group awards provided for categories including 12 and under, 13-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Following the completion of the distances, the event provides post-run refreshments and entertainment. Participants receive free access to the Bruce Museum on the day of the event.
