Greenwich Community 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

The Greenwich Community 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place on June 6, 2026 at the Bruce Museum and Bruce Park in Greenwich, Connecticut. The event is presented by the Bruce Museum, Greenwich United Way, and Greenwich Road Runners as part of America’s 250th anniversary observance.

Distances offered:

5K - certified course
1 Mile Fun Run - family and youth participation

The 5K includes age group awards for the following categories: 12 and under; 13 - 18; 19 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; 60 - 69; 70 - 79; 80 and over. The top three male and female finishers in each age category receive a medal. The 1 Mile Fun Run awards participation medals to all children.

After the runs, there will be post-run refreshments, awards presentation, and entertainment. Participants receive free access to the Bruce Museum following the event. Net proceeds from the event support children's programming at the Bruce Museum and Greenwich United Way. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
