Greenford Ruritan Memorial Day 5K, 1-Mile Walk and Kids Fun Run
The inaugural Greenford Ruritan Memorial Day events take place on May 25, 2026, at Greenford Christian Church in Salem, Ohio. The program includes multiple distances and family-friendly options.

The start and finish line is located in front of Big Reach Center of Hope, across the parking lot from Greenford Christian Church. Restrooms are available inside Greenford Christian Church. Race day registration and packet pick-up are available. The 5K is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown. Participants in all events receive a commemorative finisher medal. Participants in the 5K and 1-Mile Walk receive a participant shirt; participants in the Kids Fun Run may purchase a shirt. Proceeds from the 5K and 1-Mile Walk benefit the township cemeteries.
