The Green Lake Triathlon is the fourth race in the seven-race Wisconsin Triathlon Series. The series runs across Wisconsin during the spring and summer and welcomes athletes of all experience levels. The Green Lake event is entering its 27th year.
Event format and course
The event offers multiple formats:
- Sprint distance
- Olympic distance
Both individual and relay options are available for the sprint and Olympic distances. Listed entry fees are $74 for Sprint Individual, $84 for Olympic Individual, $175 for Sprint Relay, $185 for Olympic Relay, and $369 for the full Wisconsin Triathlon Series package.
The course includes a calm, protected lake swim, rolling hills on the bike, and a scenic run along the lake. The Green Lake race is described as combining the historic Green Lake area with a downtown setting.
What registration includes
Registered participants receive a unisex race T-shirt, a finisher medal, wave-specific colored swim cap, professional race timing provided by Race Day Events, and free digital race photos from Focal Flame Photography.
