This fundraising event for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation takes place on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Westside Park, 1000 S. Ware Rd., McAllen, TX. It is organized by the South Texas - San Antonio Chapter and offers both a community walk and a timed 5K.

The 5K has a registration fee of $35 and the walk is free. 5K registration includes a race shirt, custom finisher medal, official race bib, chip timing, and age group awards. The event also lists music and a family-friendly atmosphere as part of the race-day program.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for Friday, October 2 with location and time to be determined, and additional packet pick-up will be available on race day at Westside Park. Finisher medals will be distributed at the finish line only and will not be mailed. Registration fees are non-refundable, including if a participant cannot attend or if the event is cancelled due to circumstances beyond the organizers control.
The event supports fundraising for research and care through the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
