Great Duck Race: Stuttgart, AR
The Great Duck Race is the 47th annual running event held on November 28, 2026 in Stuttgart, Arkansas, during the Wings Over the Prairie Festival. The event offers in-person and virtual options and is sponsored by Baptist Health.
Distances include:
- Great Duck Race 5K (3.1 miles)
- Great Duck Race 10K (6.2 miles)
- Virtual Great Duck Race (virtual participation)
Registration for the in-person races opens July 30, 2026 and closes November 1, 2026. Virtual registration opens July 30, 2026 and closes November 23, 2026. Listed registration fees are $40 for the 5K, $50 for the 10K, and $40 for the virtual option. Participants in the 5K and 10K receive an official t-shirt; 10K runners receive a finisher medal. Virtual participants receive an official t-shirt. Specific shirt sizes cannot be guaranteed after October 31.
Age division place medals are awarded in each race, and overall male and female winners are recognized. Age divisions include 10 and under, 11-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+.
The starting line is at Farmers & Merchants Bank, 708 S. Main Street. Early packet pick up is available at the Stuttgart Chamber of Commerce, 507 S. Main, on Monday, November 24 and the following two days. Packet pick up and late registration are also available on race morning. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
