Event information
The Great American Pumpkin Race takes place on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at Red Tail Pavilion, 2801 E. Spring Creek Pkwy., Plano, TX 75074. The event offers multiple options:
- 100–200 m Kid's Dash
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
- Virtual Option
The 10K is run as two laps of the 5K course. The Kid's Dash is a short sprint held before the main races. The 1 Mile option is an untimed event and does not include age group awards. The virtual option includes shipment of the event shirt and medal the week of the race.
Registration, awards and extras
Published entry fees are: Kid's Dash free, 1 Mile $18, 5K $35, 10K $42, Virtual Option $40. Registration materials include an event-themed participation t-shirt (5K, 10K, 1 Mile only) and a custom finisher medal (5K, 10K, 1 Mile only). Kid Dash participants may purchase a t-shirt and medal as add-ons.
Age group awards for the 5K and 10K are awarded four deep across male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall, Masters (40+) and Grand Masters (60+) awards are also given. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. Volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank-you. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
