About the race
The Kleine Zeitung Graz Marathon is a multi-day running event in Graz held 09–11 October 2026 and organised by MJK Sportmarketing. The programme spans a weekend and combines competitive races and community events across several categories. Races and events include the Kleine Zeitung Marathon, Staffelmarathon (relay marathon), Hervis Halbmarathon, Energie Steiermark Viertelmarathon, City Run 5.0, an Inklusionslauf City Run, Nordic Walk 5.0, Junior Marathon, Bambini Sprint, Maskottchenlauf and a Familienlauf. The event also features a sport expo and designated hotspots in the city. Runner services and logistics listed for the event include start number collection at Hervis in CITYPARK on the days before the main races, marked start and finish areas, start block organisation, aid stations, pacemakers, changing rooms, showers, massage, first aid by Running Doctors, medal engraving and electronic timing and results.
