Event Overview
The Gravel Rush Run takes place at the Matterley Estate within the South Downs National Park near Winchester. It is a single-loop, off-road running event on mixed surfaces including gravel tracks, grassy paths, woodland trails, and dirt paths.
Distances
Participants can choose from two distances:
- 21km Half Marathon
- 10km
Both routes start and finish on a wide gravel section. The half marathon features an initial 8km loop before continuing for the remaining 13km. The 10km route follows the same path as the half marathon until the 9km mark, then diverges toward the finish.
Event Details
The course is within a private estate and is clearly marked. Chip timing and live results are provided. Every finisher receives a unique TrailX Gravel Rush medal and a TrailX soft cup to use at water stations. On-site catering is available. Spectators can watch from steep grassy banks near the start/finish area.
Registration
Online registration is available until 24th June 2026. Entries are subject to a 3% administration fee. Entry on the day may be available if space allows. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
