Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5K
The Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5K is held in Grand Ledge, Michigan, with all events starting and finishing at the Brandt-Spalsbury Track & Field Facility (1211 Lohne Dr., Grand Ledge, MI 48837). The program includes on track youth races and an in person 5K that follows a well marked route through city streets before returning to the track. A virtual 5K is offered as a remote participation option.

- 400 m kids race for ages 10 and under
Awards and participant items are specified by event. The in person 5K awards the top three male and female finishers in each age division and provides finisher medals to all 5K participants. The virtual 5K also includes a finisher medal. Technical t shirts and draw string bags are guaranteed for entries received by June 5; additional shirts are available while supplies last. Youth and kids events include giveaway items and cotton blend t shirts for entries by June 5. Post race refreshments will be available and race day door prizes are possible.
Packet pickup is scheduled Friday, June 12 at the Sawdon Administration Building and on the morning of the event at the track facility. Race timing is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation and results are posted live. All proceeds benefit the Grand Ledge Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) supporting projects in Grand Ledge Public Schools. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
