Grand Ledge Education Foundation Comet Chase 5K
The event takes place on June 13, 2026 in Grand Ledge, Michigan. All events begin and end at the Brandt Spalsbury Track & Field Facility, 1211 Lohne Dr., Grand Ledge.
- 5K (3.1 miles) in person and virtual
- 1 mile youth race for ages 13 and under
- 400 m kids race for ages 10 and under
The in-person 5K runs on a well marked course through quiet residential streets and finishes on the track. The youth races and the 400 m kids race take place on the track at the facility.
Awards and participant items include finisher medals and technical t-shirts for 5K entrants, with shirts and medals guaranteed for entries received by June 5 when supplies allow. The top three male and female finishers in each 5K division receive medals. The 1 mile youth race awards medals to the top ten finishers. All participants in the kids races receive Comet Squeeze Balls; youth races receive a cotton blend t-shirt for entries by June 5 while supplies last.
Packet pickup is available at the Sawdon Administration Building and the Brandt Spalsbury Track & Field Facility. Race day parking is available at the track facility.
