About the race
The Gran Maratón Hersa Mazatlán 2026 is a road running event held in Mazatlán, Sinaloa along Av. Leonismo Internacional in front of Estadio Teodoro Mariscal. The competition includes certified distances recognized by World Athletics and the Federación Mexicana de Asociaciones de Atletismo.

Event activities span an expo and kit pickup on the days before the races, community races and evening events the day before, and the half and full marathon on the main race day. Registration is available online and at local registration centers; payment by Visa or MasterCard is accepted and a maximum of two registrations per card is allowed. There is no race-day registration, and entries are nonrefundable and not transferable. Late registrations are subject to availability.
Packet pickup takes place at the Estadio Teodoro Mariscal parking area on expo days; to collect a packet, participants must present a copy of their official ID, proof of payment, and a signed waiver. Another person may pick up a kit if they present the participant’s ID copy, proof of registration, and the waiver.
Competitor rights include a race number, commemorative shirt, finisher medal, disposable timing chip, official time certificate, route hydration and isotonic drink, first-response medical service, and a rear vehicle for transfers to the finish. Official results and certificates are published after the event; award determinations use the official time recorded by race judges. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
