Grampians Peaks Trail 100 Miler
The Grampians Peaks Trail 100 Miler is an endurance event on the Grampians Peaks Trail in Gariwerd, Grampians National Park. The full GPT route measures 162 km and includes about 7,700 metres of elevation gain, running from Mt Zero in the north to Dunkeld in the south. The trail passes through varied, rocky terrain and remote wilderness sections and is organised with major aid stations dividing the course into four chunks.
The event basecamp and Event Village are in Halls Gap. Multiple race formats run along the GPT corridor and through surrounding towns, including a stage race option that covers the 100 miles over several days and relay formats for teams.
The GPT100 Miler is included in the World Trail Majors series. Finishers of the 2026 GPT100 Miler (solo or pairs) are eligible to enter the Hardrock 100 lottery for 2026 and 2027, and the miler is designated as a qualifying race for future Hardrock lottery applications.
SingleTrack Events organises the event and publishes an event schedule, athlete guides, and operational details such as aid stations, mandatory gear, crew information, and shuttle programs. The Grampians National Park is part of the Gariwerd Aboriginal cultural landscape; the organiser acknowledges the ongoing connection of Traditional Owners to these lands.
