About the race
The Grafton Jacaranda Running Festival is a road running event held in Grafton, NSW, as part of the Grafton Jacaranda Festival. The festival weekend includes multiple race distances and community activities around Memorial Park on Prince Street.
Race distances offered:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 2 km Junior Dash with optional Colour Run
On-course support includes a full hydration station. The 5 km route crosses the Grafton Bridge. The Junior Dash includes a parents run free option. Merchandise such as cow bells, tees, singlets, visors, and caps is available to order during registration and for limited purchase at the event headquarters, with collection available at bib collection. Bib collection and weekend activities start from Friday 6 November, including shake-out runs and designated bib collection sessions at The Athlete’s Foot in Grafton Shoppingworld prior to race day.
The event publishes course records and results and is presented by Grafton Jacaranda Festival Inc as an official event of the local festival. The organisers acknowledge the Bundjalung and Gumbaynggirr peoples and pay respect to the elders past and present of the Bundjalung, Gumbaynggirr and Yaegl nations within the Clarence Valley.
