Gourdy's Pumpkin Run: Indianapolis is scheduled for October 10, 2026, at Military Park in downtown Indianapolis (601 West New York Street, Indianapolis, IN 46202). The event features a 5K (3.1 miles) course through downtown Indy. The race is described as open to all ages and abilities and supports Girls on the Run.
Registration and race features
Registration includes entry to the 5K, a 2026 lightweight tech hoodie, a 2026 finisher's medal, a commemorative race bib with chip timing, a cup of apple cider at the finish line, and a small pumpkin to take home. A Tough Pumpkin option is available as an add-on: participants select a pumpkin at packet pick-up (sizes range from a couple of pounds up to ten pounds) and receive an exclusive Tough Pumpkin medal in addition to the regular finisher medal.
Teams and volunteering
Teams are created by the first person to sign up; that person enters a team name and password and can share them so others join. Each team member saves $5 on registration while signing up individually. Volunteer shifts are offered with a choice of a free race registration or a donation to Girls on the Run, plus an exclusive volunteer shirt and beanie and light snacks.
