About the race
Goulburn Triathlon Club Aquathon at Goulburn Aquatic Centre combines pool swims with road running around Victoria Park. Swims take place in designated lanes of the outdoor pool and are supervised by lifeguards. Running legs occur on routes around Victoria Park adjacent to the aquatic centre.
Four event options pair swim and run distances:
- Novice: 100 m swim and 2 km run
- Sprint: 200 m swim and 4 km run
- Classic: 400 m swim and 4 km run
- The Real Deal: 600 m swim and 6 km run
Membership and insurance requirements are specified. Triathlon Australia Standard or Premium members are insured for injury or medical emergency during the event. Nonmembers will be charged a One Day License to provide insurance; the One Day License may be used up to three times in the season before joining as a Standard or Premium member. Nonmembers may enter a maximum of three club events this season.
Entries close at 5:00 p.m. on the day before the event; a waitlist is available if an event is sold out. A race briefing is scheduled prior to the start.
