Goose Day 5K
The Goose Day 5K is an annual community 5-kilometer run and walk held in Lewistown on September 26, 2026. The course is described as flat and fast, and it begins and finishes at the Embassy Theatre on Monument Square in Downtown Lewistown.

Entry information lists pre-registration and race day fees. Pre-registration fees are $25 for adults and $20 for runners 18 and under. Family rates are offered at $40 for two, $55 for three, and $70 for four. Race day registration is $35 for all runners. Online registration closes September 23.
Pre-registered participants receive a technical race shirt, with a limited supply available on race day. Chip timing is provided by Runner’s High.
Awards include trophies for first overall male and female and first masters male and female, age-group trophies for first place, medallion trophies for second and third in each age group, and special awards for the youngest and oldest finishers. No award duplications are allowed. Masters overall trophies are presented in memory of a longtime JVS president.
Race proceeds benefit JVS youth track and field and cross country programs, high school cross country and track programs, and college scholarships. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
