Oakley Goose Creek Run-off
The event is a community road race held at Oakley City Park in Oakley, Idaho. It offers multiple race options that use a course through the Oakley valley and along areas near the Oakley dam.
Distances:
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile Kids' Race for children under 12
The 10K course begins above the Oakley dam and runners are transported by bus to the start area. The 5K follows part of the 10K route and begins at a midpoint on that course. There are youth categories for participants 17 and under in both the 10K and 5K.
The event includes a complimentary breakfast in the park and a deluxe 2024 Goose Creek Run-Off cotton/poly t-shirt; values for these items are listed in the event information. A one mile race is scheduled specifically for younger children.
All proceeds benefit the Oakley Recreation District, a non-profit entity created to maintain and manage recreational activities for the Oakley Valley, for example the Oakley Swimming Pool. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
