GoodWill Shamrock Shuffle 5K
The GoodWill Shamrock Shuffle 5K supports the GoodWill Foundation. The foundation was formed in 2011 to honor a boy with Angelman Syndrome, a rare neurological disorder. Its mission is to raise funds and awareness for Angelman's Syndrome and for schools and programs that serve children with special needs. Past fundraising has benefited organizations including Matheny Medical Center, CTC Academy, Camp Sunshine/Snowflake, Camp Acorn, and Camp Fatima.
The event takes place in Ridgewood, New Jersey, at the Saddle River Park - Wild Duck Pond Area. It is a 5K run on an out-and-back course. Race-day registration and packet pick-up opens at 6:30 AM. Organizers advise arriving early due to limited parking.
Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Wild Duck Pond Area. Once those lots are full, participants will be directed to park across the street at 1200 E. Ridgewood Ave. Parking on the grass is not permitted and can result in a ticket. Dogs and strollers are highly discouraged for safety reasons.
T-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The event happens rain or shine, and registrations are non-refundable. Photos from the race will be available in a dedicated section of the event page. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
