Event Information

The Gold Rush is a 5k Fun Run and 5k race. This is the 16th annual edition of the event. It is a fundraiser for the Bentonville Schools Foundation to benefit Bentonville students.

The event will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Lawrence Plaza in Downtown Bentonville. The organizers are partnering with Downtown Bentonville Inc.'s First Friday for this year's race. Registration is scheduled to open in February.

Sponsors and Logistics

Sponsorships allow companies to advertise to the event's participants. There are several sponsorship tiers: Elite, Title, Diamond, Platinum, and Silver. Organizers anticipate almost 3,000 runners.

In case of a weather cancellation, no refunds will be issued. A students-only make-up Fun Run would be held on Monday, May 5, at 5:30 PM at the Old Tiger Stadium track. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
