Gold Rush 5K Run and Fun Run

The Gold Rush 5K Run and Fun Run is an annual athletic event held in downtown Bentonville, Arkansas. The race serves as a fundraiser to support the Bentonville Public Schools and is organized by the Bentonville Schools Foundation. The event features two primary distances:

  • 5 km
  • Fun Run

The courses are located at the 200 Block of N.E. 3rd St., specifically near Lawrence Plaza. Participation is open to both students (ages 17 and under) and adults (ages 18 and older). Registration fees are structured into three phases: early registration, standard registration, and late registration, with different price points for students and adults in each category.

Participants who register during the early period are guaranteed their preferred shirt size. Packet pickup and late registration for those not associated with a Bentonville school take place at the BSF offices on 400 NW 2nd Street in the days leading up to the race.

Regarding event logistics, no refunds are issued in the case of a weather cancellation. In such a scenario, the organizers hold a make-up Fun Run exclusively for students at a later date. Registration for the event can be completed online until the final April deadline, or in person during the late packet pickup period. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
