Event
God's Country Marathon Race Series takes place in Potter County, Pennsylvania. The 2026 edition is the 51st running of the event. It is organized by the Potter County Education Council and finishes in Coudersport, PA. The event includes marathon, half-marathon and team relay options. Listed entry fees for 2026 are $75 for the full marathon, $60 for the half marathon, and $165 for a team relay entry.
Course
The race is a point-to-point route that begins in Galeton and ends in downtown Coudersport. The course runs west on U.S. Route 6 through the Susquehannock State Forest. Elevations given in the event material list Galeton at about 1,300 ft and Coudersport at about 1,400 ft. Around mile 14 the course begins a three-mile climb up Denton Hill to the eastern continental divide, topping at approximately 2,424 ft, followed by a downhill section into Coudersport.
