Gloucester Township Scholarship Run (29th Annual)
The 29th Annual Gloucester Township Scholarship Run takes place on April 11, 2026, in Blackwood, New Jersey. The event is organized by the Gloucester Township Day Scholarship Committee. Proceeds fund college scholarships for high school students who reside in Gloucester Township. Registration is set to open in late fall 2025.

- 1 Mile Walk/Run
The 5K course begins near the Senior Center on Chews Landing Road, follows a loop through police-patrolled streets, and finishes in the Municipal Complex parking lot. The One Mile Walk follows two loops around the Veteran’s Park track, with two smaller loops inside those loops.
Registration, timing and logistics
Standard registration fees are listed as $25 for the 5K and $10 for the One Mile. Late registration on race day for the 5K is listed at $30. Race shirts are guaranteed for the first 100 registered participants. Race day registration is available. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable; the event is rain or shine.
Timing is provided by Linmark Sports, and results will be posted by the timing company and made available online. Awards include first male and female overall, first Gloucester Township resident finisher, first parent-and-child duo finishers, and top three males and females in standard age groups. Indoor restrooms and post-race food are available. Bib and shirt pickup are offered on race day at the Senior Center of the Municipal Complex.
