Gloucester Half Marathon & 10k
The Gloucester Half Marathon & 10k takes place on 21st March 2027 and is presented by TREK in support of Sue Ryder. The event is organised by RunThrough and hosted in Gloucester Park with a closed road route through Gloucester and Quedgeley.
The course runs around pedestrianised city centre streets, passes Gloucester Cathedral, and joins the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal Path. Entry includes chip timed results, post race refreshments, free official event photos, and a themed finisher’s medal. Race pack collection details are sent to entrants before the event.
Age requirements are specified for each race: runners in the 10k must be aged 15 or older, and half marathon runners must be aged 17 or older. There will be water stations along the routes and participants are encouraged to bring their own bottle to help reduce congestion on the course. An informal bag drop area will operate in the event village using baggage tags attached to race numbers; staff at the baggage tent assist with collection. Portable toilets will be available in the event village. Results are published on RunThrough after the race, and official event photos are made available on the organiser’s photos page. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
