Course and facilities

The course follows pedestrianised city centre streets, passes around Gloucester Cathedral, then continues around Gloucester and Quedgeley on a closed-road circuit and the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal Path. The half marathon has an indicated elevation gain of 70 m and the 10k shows 39 m; both are described as road and gravel terrain. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned around the route. The event includes an event village with food and drink options and free official race photos.
