Event Overview
The Girls on the Run Middle Tennessee Fall Season Celebratory 5K takes place on December 6, 2025 at Two Rivers Park, 2320 Two Rivers Pkwy, Nashville, TN 37214. It is a 5K (3.1 miles) event that marks the end of the season for program participants.
The 5K is open to Girls on the Run participants, their Running Buddies, family members, and community runners. Program participants and coaches are already registered and do not need to register separately. Every program participant receives a commemorative medal after finishing the 5K.
Strollers are allowed on the course, but dogs are not permitted, except for service animals. The event continues in cold or rainy weather and is only canceled if conditions are unsafe. The course is accessible for people with disabilities, and participants may walk, run, push, or roll.
Registration, Pricing and Logistics
Registration is available for:
- Adult Community Runner
- Child Community Runner
- Running Buddy
Early bird and late registration prices apply, with a price increase after November 9.
Packet pickup for Community Runners and Running Buddies is available before the event. Day-of registration and check-in open at the Race Village. Free parking is provided in the Wave Country Parking Lot at the same address as the park, with parking attendants and signage guiding runners and spectators.
The Race Village includes activities such as Happy Hair, face painting, a selfie station, poster decorating, coffee, and merchandise. Group warm-ups take place before the start. Race Village activities remain open until 10:00 a.m. Event festivities end at 10:00 a.m. or 45 minutes after the last runner finishes.
Each participant must wear a race bib. The council assigns or approves Running Buddies, and safety plans, course monitoring, and head counts are used throughout the event. All registrations include a liability waiver. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
