Gilbert Fit & Fun Run
The Gilbert Fit & Fun Run is a community event at Freestone District Park in Gilbert, Arizona, held on October 11, 2026. The event is family-friendly and open to all ages and fitness levels, with both an in-person 5K and a virtual run option. Proceeds benefit Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center locations in Arizona and the event is sponsored by Banner Health.
Participation options

- Virtual Run : run or walk at any location; virtual packets mailed after the event
All participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit tech t-shirt (option to receive no shirt for a reduced fee). Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers. The event uses chip timing with real-time results and event photos available online and via mobile apps. Pre- and post-event refreshments include granola bars, fruit, water, and sports drink.
Logistics notes: packet pick-up is available the day before at Sole Sports in Gilbert and on event morning at the park; mail-in registrations are accepted through October 5, 2026. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome; leashed pets are allowed. Roller blades, skateboards, skates, and motorized devices are not permitted. There is no bag check.
