The Grand Forks Running team presents the sixth annual See Dick Run Grand Forks race weekend on August 28–29, 2026, in downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota. Events center on Town Square Grand Forks and nearby greenways along the Red River.
The weekend includes the following distances:
- 5K
- 10K
- 10 Mile (GF10)
The Altru Health System Beach Party 5K starts and finishes on the Grand Forks side of the Greenway along the Red River and includes optional water and other obstacles. The 10K and 10 Mile races begin on the Sorlie Bridge in downtown Grand Forks, pass through downtown and along University Avenue, continue through the University of North Dakota campus, and return downtown. Both longer races finish at the flood obelisk adjacent to Town Square.
Downtown activities during the weekend include music and additional event-related offerings. Registration fees vary by event and registration period. Profits from the weekend will be donated to charities the organizers have supported over the past 12 plus years. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
