Grand Forks 10 Weekend
Grand Forks 10 Weekend is a multi-day race event in Grand Forks, scheduled for August 28 to 29, 2026. The weekend features multiple road race distances held across several days, along with community-run activities and a virtual race option.
Main race distances include:
- 10 Mile
- 10K
- 5K
Events begin earlier in the weekend with community activities. A Furry Scurry 1.5 mile run/walk takes place on Thursday and benefits the Circle of Friends Humane Society; the event includes items for participating dogs and a yappy hour at the finish line. A Family Fun Run for children 12 and under is held on Friday with 1/2 mile and 1 mile options. The primary 10 Mile, 10K and 5K races are scheduled over the weekend.
A virtual race option is available; virtual entries include event swag and a medal, with swag contents noted to possibly vary. The Simonson’s Go Grand Challenge recognizes participants who complete the 5K plus a longer race (10K, half marathon, or full marathon) with a special prize.
Packet pick-up is centralized at See Dick Run, 28 S 3rd St, Grand Forks, ND, with scheduled pick-up windows on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Course maps are provided for the individual race routes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
