The Grand Forks Running team organizes the sixth annual See Dick Run Grand Forks 10 race weekend on August 28 and 29, 2026, in downtown Grand Forks, North Dakota. Events use locations around Town Square Grand Forks, South 3rd Street, and nearby greenways.
Distances offered include:
- 5K Altru Beach Party 5K; starts and ends on the Greenway along the Red River.
- 10K Road race starting on Sorlie Bridge, through downtown and University of ND campus.
- 10M 10 mile road race follows similar downtown and greenway route, finishes at flood obelisk.
The 5K course stays on the Grand Forks side of the Greenway along the Red River. The 10K and 10 mile races begin on the Sorlie Bridge in downtown Grand Forks, continue through downtown and along University Avenue, pass through the University of North Dakota campus, and return downtown to run along the East Grand Forks and Grand Forks greenways. Both longer races finish at the flood obelisk adjacent to the Town Square.
The weekend includes additional downtown activities such as music and event extras. Registration is available with tiered pricing windows and fees that vary by distance.
