Get Green Fest Event
The Get Green 5k Run/Walk is held in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The event center is located at 900 W Main St, where a dedicated event tent serves as a focal point for participants. The race is a 5 km distance, specifically referred to as the 5-KILT RUN.
Registration is available online or onsite. Onsite registration takes place at the Firefighters Union Hall on 1405 Broadway on the Friday before the event or at the event tent on the morning of the race. All onsite registration transactions are cash only. Participants who register after February 17th are not guaranteed an event t-shirt due to processing requirements.

Awards are presented to the overall top male and female finishers. Additionally, awards are distributed to the first three male and female runners in several age categories. These prizes are handed out following the Greening of the River ceremony. To receive an award, the individual must be physically present at the presentation. Packet pickup is scheduled for the Friday before the race at the Union Hall or on the morning of the event at the Main St location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
