Get Down to the Loose Caboose 2026
Get Down to the Loose Caboose is a race day in Paragould, Arkansas centered at 200 N. Pruett St., behind the Greene County Courthouse. The event program includes four races and uses local routes including the 8 Mile Creek Trail for the 5K and 10K courses.

- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- Loose Caboose 10K - 10K
- Loose Caboose 5K - 5K
- Fastest Kid in Town Race - 1 Mile
The half marathon starts downtown behind the Greene County Courthouse. Both the 10K and 5K start at Bland Park and finish behind the courthouse. A shuttle will be provided to return racers from the finish area back to Bland Park. The kids race begins inside the festival grounds near Champions Gymnastics. Age divisions for the kids race are 4 and under, 5-6 years, 7-8 years, 9-10 years, and 11-14 years.
Registration fees listed by event are $30 for the half marathon, $25 for the 10K, $25 for the 5K, and $10 for the kids race. Registrations completed before May 1 receive a Loose Caboose Festival T-shirt. All proceeds from the races benefit the Paragould Chamber Foundation and the Greene County Future Fund; the races are a collaboration between those two entities.
