Get Down to the Loose Caboose : Paragould, AR
The Get Down to the Loose Caboose is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Paragould, Arkansas. The event base is listed at 200 N. Pruett St., Paragould, AR 72450. Registrations completed before May 1 receive a Loose Caboose Festival T-shirt. The 8 Mile Creek Trail expansion is expected to be complete by race day and starting points will change from previous years. All proceeds benefit the Paragould Chamber Foundation and the Greene County Future Fund; the races are a collaboration between those two entities.

The 10K and 5K courses will use the 8 Mile Creek Trail. The half marathon and both the 10K and 5K have Bland Park listed as their starting location; the 10K returns to Bland Park while the 5K finishes at Harmon Park. A shuttle will run from the 5K finish area to return 5K participants to Bland Park. The kids race takes place inside the festival grounds near Champions Gymnastics. Age divisions for the kids race are: 4 and under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-14. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
