Gearhead Endurance Challenge

The Gearhead Endurance Challenge is a fitness event held at Craighead Forest Park in Jonesboro, Arkansas. The event takes place at Pavilion 3 and focuses on personal endurance and achievement rather than traditional competition. Participants set their own goals, whether that involves completing a single loop or reaching a total of 30 miles.

The format consists of a 2.5-mile loop. Runners have the opportunity to complete these loops during 30-minute intervals throughout a 6-hour period. This structure allows individuals to test their limits at their own pace within the scenic surroundings of the park.

A packet pick-up and pre-race Vendor Village are held on the Friday before the event at Native Brew Works. Merchandising for the challenge is provided by brands including The North Face and Stanley.
