Gdynia Półmaraton
The Gdynia Półmaraton is a major running event held in the coastal city of Gdynia, Poland. The competition is scheduled for April 2027 and features a night running format. Participants start their race at Skwer Kościuszki and finish on the Gdynia City Beach. Because the event takes place in the evening, runners arrive at the finish line after dark.
The event offers several categories for different types of participants:
- Półmaraton (Half marathon)
- 5K
- Relay
- Kids Run
The half marathon has a participant limit of 15,000 runners and a completion time limit of 3 hours. The event has also served as the Polish Half Marathon Championships.
In addition to the races, organizers provide various services such as medal engraving, finisher photos, and a video analysis of running technique. An accompanying "Fit Living Expo" is also part of the event program. Registration typically follows a tiered pricing system based on the number of packages sold, and early registrants can benefit from flexible cancellation or transfer options.
