Energa Gdańsk Maraton
The Energa Gdańsk Maraton is a multi-day sporting event held in the city of Gdańsk, Poland. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 18-19 April. The event features several running distances and formats to accommodate different participants:
- Marathon: The classic distance of 42.195 km.
- Marathon Relay: A team-based version of the marathon distance.
- 5 km Run: A shorter competitive distance, also referred to as the Czaniecka Piątka.
- Junior Marathon: Specific races designed for younger participants.
The marathon route is designed to pass through some of the most characteristic and historic locations in Gdańsk. The event traditionally begins its activities on Saturday with the junior races and the 5 km run, followed by the main marathon and relay events on Sunday.
Participants receive a starter package which can include a technical t-shirt, and there is a dedicated Expo zone located at AmberExpo. Training support is provided through the "Brooks Be Ready" program, featuring training plans and nutritional advice. Registration is required to participate, and results are tracked electronically with an official timekeeper.
