2026 Gaylord All Outdoors Tri 45 Winter Triathlon : Forbush Headquarters, Frederic MI
The event is a winter multisport race held at Forbush Headquarters, 4971 W Co Rd 612, Frederic, MI on March 7, 2026. It offers solo competitors, relay teams of two to three people, and a duathlon option that omits the ski leg.
Race disciplines and distances:
- Ski: 5 km skate ski
- Bike: 10 km fat tire bike (two laps)
- Run: 5 km winter trail run (two laps)
Packet pickup is scheduled for March 6, location and time to be announced. The transition area and aid stations are at the start and provide water, sports drink, and snacks. Timing is provided by Forbush. Registration includes a custom finisher medal, warm post race snacks and hot beverages, and an insulated water belt for the first 50 registrants.
Awards are given to top overall male and female finishers and to age group winners in 10 year brackets. Relay teams receive finisher medals but are excluded from overall awards. Organizers reserve the right to adjust course layout or distances for safety in dangerous weather, and to modify the event to a run bike run if there is no snow. The event is nonrefundable and entries are not transferable to the following year.
