Garden City Color Run 5K
The Garden City Color Run 5K is an untimed community run held at the Glasscock County ISD Complex, Bearkat Stadium, 240 Bearkat Ave, Garden City, TX. The run is part of a full-day Field Day Festival that also includes a health fair, a farmers market, and an on-site blood drive.
The event features a 5K course where participants pass through multiple color powder stations using non-toxic, food-grade powder. The run is open to all ages. Registration includes an official race T-shirt, the color run experience, and access to the full festival.
The health fair and farmers market are located at the school athletic complex and include local vendors, health resources, and community booths. The blood drive is hosted with Vitalant, and donors are eligible for giveaway incentives.
Packet pickup is handled at the Annex Treasurer’s Office, 209 S Myrl, with race day pickup available at the venue. Parking is available at the school and surrounding areas; attendees should expect festival traffic. The event notes that participants typically wear light-colored clothing and that sunglasses are recommended. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
