Port of San Diego Game Day 5K Run/Walk - San Diego
The Port of San Diego Game Day 5K Run/Walk is an annual event held along the San Diego harbor front, starting at the corner of Harbor and Ash and listed at 1355 N Harbor Dr., San Diego, CA 92101. The event date is 12/28/2026.
There are two registration categories: an adult 5K for participants 16 and over with a registration fee of $45.00, and a youth 5K for participants 15 and under with a registration fee of $20.00. Online registration opens 9/22/2026 and closes 12/8/2026. Race day registration and bib pick-up are available at the corner of Harbor and Ash; there is no pre-race packet pick-up. T-shirts are distributed near the finish line and participants must keep their bib on to receive a shirt.
All participants receive a finisher medal. Awards are presented three deep in all divisions, with prizes for the top three male and female 5K finishers in each age division; awards can be picked up at the awards table after the event.
The finish area includes a post-race party with a live DJ and packaged snacks, water, and fresh fruit. Spectators and participants can watch the remainder of the parade, which features colorful floats, bands, and large inflatable characters.
